The troupe present various pieces originally choreographed by Fokine, among them ‘Les Sylphides’, ‘The Death of a Swan’ and ‘Egyptian Night’. Under the artistic direction of Anna Cuocolo, the show is accompanied by an exhibition of photographs of Anna Pavlova. Dating back 80 years, the photos portray the prima ballerina who gave up the chance to dance with Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes in order to promote dance in the remotest corners of the world.
