All 13 of Pedro Almodóvar’s feature films are on show in Barcelona over Christmas as the Filmoteca runs a retrospective cycle on the work of Spain’s most emblematic moviemaker. Early films like ‘Pepi, Luci, Bom’ and ‘Labyrinth of Passion’ are getting a rare big-screen projection, along with his better-known later work – all in Spanish without subtitles. A discussion session with the presence of the director himself is programmed, but a date has not yet been confirmed.
